The burpee is a full body exercise and is also known as the squat thrust.It primarily trains your legs and depending on the types of burpees that you are doing you will train other muscles too.
How to do a burpee
- Start on the standing position
- Lower yourself into a squat position and put your hands on the floor
- Kick back with your legs into a pushup position
- Kick with your feet into the squat position,jump and clap your hands
I will list some other variations of burpees below:
Burpee Push-up
When you achieve the push-up position,do a push-up and then continue with the normal burpee.
Muscle-up Burpee
Do a muscle-up instead of jumping and clapping your hands.
Pull-up Burpee
Same as the muscle-up burpee, only this time you are going to do a pull-up instead of a muscle-up.
